Clay is a flexible way to find people. LeadGennie takes the profiles you choose and adds research, ICP scoring and evidence-backed drafts, with your team approving every campaign before it sends.

LeadGennie connects to Clay's Public API with your own key to search people profiles, review the matches and import the ones you pick. Clay's People Search returns profiles, not email addresses, so LeadGennie imports profiles only and never invents an email.

Connect your key
A workspace admin adds a Clay Public API key. LeadGennie verifies it with Clay, stores it encrypted and never shows it again.

Selected profiles go through validation, dedupe and Do Not Contact checks as a background job, then into research.

Does the Clay integration use LeadGennie credits?
No. Your Clay plan's limits apply to searches; LeadGennie credits are not charged for Clay search or import.
How do I get emails for profiles imported from Clay?
Clay's People Search does not return emails, so profiles from Clay arrive without one. You can add an email to the lead yourself, or source people through the Apollo.io or Lusha integrations, which return work emails.
Can LeadGennie's agent search Clay?
Yes. The agent can include a Clay profile search in a plan; the step states that Clay returns no email addresses and runs only after you approve the plan.
